Struggling to see your GP?

Enhanced Access

You can now see a GP in the evening or at the weekend.

The Enhanced Access Service has been developed to offer patients more accessibility to GPs outside normal working hours.  Provided by GPHP, this service consists of a network of nineteen local General Practices in the Epsom area.

Who is it for?

We understand that some patients find it difficult to see a GP during normal practice hours because of work commitments or school.  This service is therefore primarily aimed at these people.  Suitable patients would be school children for non-urgent consultation and working professionals seeking routine appointments for blood pressure checks or contraceptive services as examples.  This service is not intended for those patients with chronic ongoing disease and problems which require continuity and review appointments.

How can I make an appointment?

To book an appointment you can contact your registered GP practice in the usual way. Ask your GP’s receptionist for an appointment at one of our sites in Epsom, Leatherhead or on the Downs. You can book an appointment in advance or on the day. If you are unwell when your doctor’s surgery is closed, you can phone 01372 738 373 from 18:00 to 21:00 on weekdays or from 09:00 to 13:00 at the weekend to book an appointment. You will then be seen by a local NHS GP with full access to your medical history.  There is no charge for using this service.
